BE CAREFUL. I went once, and I'm glad i didn't go through with it. The (female) counselor didn't really listen, to but jumped to conclusions and blamed me before hearing both sides. Now I understand why so many people get divorced after marital counseling. In fact, they make you sign a legal waiver releasing them from responsibility if you get divorced. My wife and I worked out our temporary issue on our own, and we've been happy ever since.

I believe that a book just exposes you to new ideas of the way you can live your life, you must willing in your heart to change your life. I am a writer who deals with problems of relationships, and from my past experience can tell you that if you are dealing with issues its best to get them out in the open. Having good communication with you mate will allow you to express your feelings openly and honestly. Never let a problem fester too long or it will get worse. A good book that I would recommend (of course) is Being Married & Loving It. In this book it will explain problems that young couple will face and may offer you the answers that you need.
